5500 Fail-Safe Relay Module |
The 5500 provides for fail-safe power failure release while offering reliable and versatile output functions. The Series 5500 uses two electro-mechanical output relays, one being energized when the supply power is connected to the 5500 and the other is energized when the sensing circuit is completed. This allows load circuits to open or close on power loss to the 5500 module as needed. Low power sensing circuit makes it ideal for use in control of liquid level or remote pilot devices. A short time delay is used to eliminate nuisance tripping due to liquid wave action or other quickly cycling inputs. The unit is UL recognized. |

5510IS Fail-Safe Relay Module |
The 5510 is specifically designed to provide an intrinsically safe and economical means of detecting and controlling a wide variety of processing variables in explosive environments. The sensing circuit is designed to prevent releasing sufficient energy to ignite most flammable gases or liquids. The Series 5510 uses two electro-mechanical output relays, one being energized when the supply power is connected to the 5510 and the other is energized when the sensing circuit is completed. This allows load circuits to open or close on power loss to the 5510 module as needed. A short time delay is used to eliminate nuisance tripping due to liquid wave action or other quickly cycling inputs. Suitable for use in refineries, grain elevators and sewage treatment facilities - to mention just a few of the many areas for safe, practical installation. The unit is UL listed for Class I, II and III; Division 1; Groups A, B, C, D, E, F & G hazardous areas. |
